FAQ
Why is AI important?
In 30 years, there will be trillions of connected devices to the internet. These devices will include everything, from fridges to cars. The Internet of Things is made up of billions of connected devices and the internet. IoT devices will be able to communicate and share information with each other. They will also be capable of making their own decisions. A fridge may decide to order more milk depending on past consumption patterns.
It is anticipated that by 2025, there will have been 50 billion IoT device. This is a tremendous opportunity for businesses. However, it also raises many concerns about security and privacy.
Who invented AI?
Alan Turing
Turing was conceived in 1912. His father was a clergyman, and his mother was a nurse. He was an excellent student at maths, but he fell apart after being rejected from Cambridge University. He learned chess after being rejected by Cambridge University. He won numerous tournaments. After World War II, he worked in Britain's top-secret code-breaking center Bletchley Park where he cracked German codes.
He died on April 5, 1954.
John McCarthy
McCarthy was born 1928. Before joining MIT, he studied mathematics at Princeton University. He created the LISP programming system. He had laid the foundations to modern AI by 1957.
He died in 2011.
Which countries are leading the AI market today and why?
China has more than $2B in annual revenue for Artificial Intelligence in 2018, and is leading the market. China's AI market is led by Baidu. Tencent Holdings Ltd. Tencent Holdings Ltd. Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. Xiaomi Technology Inc.
China's government is heavily investing in the development of AI. The Chinese government has created several research centers devoted to improving AI capabilities. These include the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, the State Key Lab of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems, and the State Key Laboratory of Software Development Environment.
China is home to many of the biggest companies around the globe, such as Baidu, Tencent, Tencent, Baidu, and Xiaomi. These companies are all actively developing their own AI solutions.
India is another country making progress in the field of AI and related technologies. India's government is currently focusing their efforts on creating an AI ecosystem.
Are there any risks associated with AI?
It is. They always will. AI is a significant threat to society, according to some experts. Others argue that AI has many benefits and is essential to improving quality of human life.
AI's potential misuse is one of the main concerns. If AI becomes too powerful, it could lead to dangerous outcomes. This includes robot overlords and autonomous weapons.
AI could take over jobs. Many people fear that robots will take over the workforce. However, others believe that artificial Intelligence could help workers focus on other aspects.
Some economists even predict that automation will lead to higher productivity and lower unemployment.
